Where does the club meet? - Sawley Women’s Institute Hall See Location Page

When does the club meet? - Every Monday night between September and April , at 7.30pm, for a prompt 7.45pm start (Calendar).

How long do the meetings last? - Meetings close around 10pm. At this time many members retire to the Nags Head Public House nearby

What happens at the club? - This differs from week to week. Slide and print competitions, lectures and demonstrations from guest speakers, practical evenings, and more.

Are there any meetings in Summer? - We organise photographic outings on Monday nights during Summer months.

Women’s Institute? Is this a club for women only? - No, we have members of both sexes. We only lease the clubroom from the W.I.

Is there an age limit? - No, we have members from school age to retirement.

I only have a digital camera, can I join? -Yes, members use digital cameras, as well as film and slide photography.

How can I join? - Come along to one of our meetings. If you like what you see, talk to our treasurer.

Do I have to be a skilled photographer? - No, but you will gain from our members experiences.

How much does it cost? - Subscriptions are 26 pounds per year.

Is there disabled access? - Disabled facilities are currently under construction.
